About Nhat
Math classes are hard! While taking math classes in middle school and high school, it always took me a little bit to understand the material. I know tips and tricks to help students understand complicated math concepts because I had to learn them myself. I have tutored family members, my peers in middle school, high school, and college, and also members of my school's chapter of the Association of Women in Mathematics. I have also previously tutored students in my college's nearby high school. The people I tutored have excelled in their math classes after our sessions. Again, I know what it's like to struggle in math--it's hard. Having someone in your corner who knows that--and is willing to help you no matter what--will help you succeed immensely.
I'm a second-year undergraduate student studying Mathematical Sciences--I'm blessed to enjoy math, but I understand a lot of people don't. I'm hoping that I can make math a little more bearable. I am on the executive board of my school's chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics. In this organization, I am in charge of creating events for our members to excite them about math, create a safe community, and provide professional development services. Math isn't just a formulaic and computational subject, it's also about learning how to think in an analytical way.
