About Raul
I have a passion for mathematics and enjoy seeing students progressing in the material.
The learning process and seeing the student's confidence increase completely fascinates me.
At the request of a friend who was earning a master's degree and unable to stretch his time, I taught a college class on chassis fabrication. Also, I briefly taught a sixth-grade Montessori math class. This on top of five years college math tutoring experience.
During college, I tutored college students for five years in mathematics and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

My first instinct is to listen well to the student and invite the student to feel comfortable with being tutored. Secondly, I gauge the level and point of math the student is comfortable with.
My tutee's ages ranged from eleven to sixty years olds.
My advice would simply be, ensure you are comfortable with the tutor and the learning process.
When operating my company Mathimage selling graphic and inspiring mathematics I had created, I once encountering a student who excitedly grabbed the image of a fellow students Mathimage sweatshirt exclaiming "I want this!".
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ideally, the student, before the tutor arrives, ought to write various ways to approach a solution for each problem and once with the tutor inquire about the validity of approaches.
