About Susan
I am currently in my 18th year of teaching. My teaching experience ranges from Kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and I am currently a teacher for English Language learners. I absolutely love math, but I also enjoy teaching reading and writing as well. Connecting with my students is such a main component to teaching. By developing that relationship and trust between teacher and student, I feel that I would be able to help them in any aspect in the education. I always ask that my students try their best no matter what. I am patient and will break down skills for my students in the most simplest way that I can. I always welcome parent feedback as we are a team and it is important to include parents in all educational aspects of their child's life.
