About Madeleine
Hi my name is Madeleine Gignoux, and I am an incoming Pure Mathematics student at the VU Amsterdam in The Netherlands. For all of my life I have had an immense passion for Maths and specifically how it is presented visually to students in order to bridge the gap between intuition and mathematical reflex. For the past two years, I have worked especially hard towards an International Baccalaureate Diploma, with a specialisation in higher level maths and specifically group theory.
Personally, I have taken up many tutoring opportunities within my school, ranging from young students with english difficulties to older students beginning to face the difficulties of maths. Throughout these experiences, I have learned that attentive one-on-one care tailored to a student's situation is the best method to help them succeed, and with motivation, to develop an enthusiasm for maths.
Whether you are looking to develop a heightened understanding of maths, or simply looking for tried and true test-taking strategies and immediate support for your upcoming exams, I look forward to sharing my passion with you!
