About Jessica
I am a student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Lehigh University with 4+ years of tutoring experience in math, English, and SAT preparation.
During my own high school career, I received a 5 on both the AP Calculus AB and BC exams, and scored a 1560 on the SAT, having improved by over 200 points from my first attempt. I also received state and international awards in creative writing through the Future Problem Solving Program International (FPSPI).
I have worked with students in grades K-12 in several settings, including in-school tutoring as a volunteer for the America Reads/Counts program, afterschool enrichment at Best in Class Education Center, and my own private tutoring practice.
I believe that in order to tutor effectively, one must build a strong rapport with the student, understanding their needs, struggles, and what academic subjects excite them. I enjoy making connections with my clients, and tailor my tutoring approach to each student's individual needs. I also work closely with parent/guardians, updating them on the progress their child is making after each session.
I am available in-person on Saturdays and Sundays in Princeton, NJ. I am also available online on weekdays.
I offer a free first consultation, and prices are flexible. I look forward to working with you!
