About Elina
Hello everyone! I am Elina, a sophomore student at Brown University, and I am so excited to be tutoring any of you for math! I specialize in high school and early college algebra, AP Calculus, and differential calculus specifically. I am currently a teaching assistant for Essential Maths for Economis at Brown, so if you want an economics focus and tutoring I can also help you with that!
My passion for helping students understand concepts I love in math and economics led me to tutoring.
As mentioned, I have tutored students in Principles of Economics at Brown University and am currently an essential mathematics for economics teaching asssistant, grading homeworks, holding office hours and leading practice sessions. This class focuses on differential calculus and applications on economics concepts. I have also received a 5 in AP calculus AB and a 7 in International Baccalureatte Mathematics.

I have done economics tutoring in a group setting for Principles of Economics and have worked with students on essential maths for economics. I like to discuss the content that needs to be covered with the student and discuss what aspects of the content they don't feel confident in by asking them questions about it. Before every lesson a google form is sent out with what the student does not feel they understand so I can prepare accordingly.
I have worked with high school students and freshman and sophomore students at Brown University.
