I'm 18, I graduated a year early from high school. I am a GT student and took AP classes since my freshman year. I've done some tutoring for some friends athrough my school. I would like to start by introducing ourselves, to break the ice so my students are comfortable and trusting of me to not judge them when they do not know a correct answer. After inroducing myself, I would like to create an overview of the specific needs of a student and what exactly they're learning in school, and how they're being taught to solve eqautions. I would then, adapt to the school's ways of teaching, sometimes adding my own methods if they're convinent and not confusing to a student. I would continue to work with the student until they understand their work 100% and until they're confident in themselevs as well. I don't mind working with a student over and over a topic when needed.
I've worked with my fellow students as well as family friends who had children in, both, elementray school and middle school.
Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you need until you completly understand what it is you're learning.
