About Robert
I am a student at the Univeristy of Washington in Seattle working to earn my Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering. My undergraduate degree was in Applied Physics with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. In my free time, I love hiking, eating, and playing golf, basketball or other sports in general.
I am confident in tutoring middle school and high school math including calculus.
I can also coach/mentor basketball as I had a chance to play Division I NCAA basketball before I got injured and decided to pursue academics full-time.
I took and recieved A's for all the available math classes in high school, including up to Calculus 3, so I am very familliar and confident with math. I have a strong background in physics and I am confident in chemistry as my Masters of Science is in Materials Science and Engineering.
For basketball, I was all conference first team in the 4A division in Washington State, and was recruited by multiple division one NCAA coaches before I got injured. I love passing down my knowledge in basketball, as I always regard myself to have a high basketball IQ and a style of play full with unique skills and moves.

I would ask about their confidence level in the topics we are reviewing, then give them a pretest to gauge their true understanding and abilities before I start to tutor. I would continuously ask for feedback during the learning process to see if the pace of the lessons need to be sped up or slowed down.
This applies for math, sciences, or basketball.
