About Brian
I have extensive experience teaching ages 3 to post-graduate. I have lived and taught for more than 6 years in Asia. In China, I primarily taught English. In Malaysia, I taught Year 1 Cambridge curriculum to include ELA, Science, Math, and IPC.
I enjoy the results of seeing a students use what they have learned. I enjoy seeing students happy and motivated to learn.
I wanted to work overseas so I applied to a position in China in 2010. This position also included a TESOL certification where I achieved the Diploma level after a 6-month teaching practicum.
I have a BA in Global Studies.
I have a DipTESOL.
I have more than 6 years teaching experience overseas.

First, I must assess the student's level. Then, I will adjust my teaching to mett the needs of the student. Also, I must be aware of how to grade my speech depending on the student's language level.
I have worked with a large range of students ranging from low level learners to high level learners. I have taught in monocultural as well as multiculral settings. Classes had only one student, or more than 100 at university level.
You must be motivated and hard working to be successful.
You must stay ficued and practice to get better.
You must be positivve that you will improve.
Malaysia International School: My Year 1 class receved first place in school-wide Project Fair. We studied people of the past and geography. We made dioramas and dressed like the people we studied.
