About Kelvin
Math surrounds us everywhere, but does not get the excitement that it deserves! I am Kelvin Veldre, and I am currently going into my Junior year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying engineering and work in the summers as an engineer at a structural engineering firm in Green Bay. This job has been put on hold for the time being, so I would love to continue using my passion for numbers by helping others extend their mathematical knowledge.
I have taken and mastered math classes through calculus 3 and differential equations. Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus are all found in college level courses, and are found in my work as an engineer, so I continue to use them daily.

I like to let students work through problems thinking out loud so I can see what parts are more difficult for them than others. Then, I believe in the power of repetition and teaching. Repeating similar problems and having the student teach me step by step how to approach a problem is the best way to learn.
