About Michelle
Hi! My name is Michelle and I would love to be your math tutor! I am a secondary math education major at Catholic University and have always had a passion for math and working with children. I have taken a variety of math courses such as Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and Advanced Math. In addition, I have worked with children from ages 8-15 at a YMCA summer camp over the past 5 years. I have tutored several children before in math and am looking to get more experience. Looking forward to tutoring you!
I enjoy helping students understand math and helping them achieve their goals academically.
I love to work with children.
I am a junior at catholic university majoring in secondary math education. I have taught several students before in math.

I intend to work with your student in a way that I am teaching them, but they also are trying to do the problems on their own. The goal is for them to learn to do it themselves, not have me do the problem for them.
I have worked with students ranged from 8-15 years old and students on the spectrum.
Make sure the tutor knows what they are talking about and is giving you opportunities to try math on your own.
I tutored at Washington Jesuit Academy in the fall of 2018 and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
