About Amber
I have been teaching High School Algebra 1 and Geometry for 7 years. Thus far I have taught in 3 states (Arizona, Pennsylvania, Indiana). Currently, I possess a Special Education teaching license: Mild to Moderate Disabilities (AZ) and a M.Ed in Special Education. I specialize in modifying (breaking down) and accommodating (giving support) basic Math and Algebra 1 cirriculum.

Approach
- First we talk through your struggles
- Next we talk about your interest and hobbies
- As we work through assignments, I will break down the information and reteach key skills in smaller parts. When teaching these smaller parts, I try to relate key concepts and skills to your hobbies and interest.
I believe being a teacher is one way to help expand how someone processes information. I want to support you with not only having dreams and passion but also developing a strategy. To think about the 'how' in conjunction with the 'why.' Developing this thought process will support your growth in Math. Even if math is not always easy and fun, YOU CAN DO IT, and I will help you.
I enjoy helping others help themselves. Being financially independent is a mental freedom I think is fundamental to overall happiness.
