Experienced Tutor, Maths and Physics lesson for GCSE & A Level in London

I would highly recommend Dewi as a tutor. He tutored my son on math and physics for his GCSEs. Dewi always came prepared and would take the time to go through any topic that my son did not understand, he would always find the right strategy to explain the more difficult topics. He would even do research and send my son online videos with several different explanations to make sure that my son was prepared for his exams.

I have great pleasure and no hesitation in providing a reference for Dewi Evans. My son was undertaking his GCSE's in 2017 through the medium of Welsh and was struggling in Physics at an early stage. We realised that some well targeted intensive tuition would allow him to achieve the grades he needed and deserved. We were lucky enough to find Dewi who could provide tuition through the mediums of Welsh and English and whom my son immediately clicked with. Dewi has an extremely calm and reassuring approach to his teaching and gave my son the confidence to added understanding to take back into the classroom. My son achieved a B grade at GCSE something that would have been unthinkable 18 months earlier. Dewi also provided some tuition in mathematics which again allowed my son to achieve the B grade needed to pursue a career in Engineering. I have also recommended Dewi to several friends all of whom have had the same positive experience as myself, achieving outstanding exam results. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommended Dewi as an exceptional tutor.

Dewi Evans came to our aid after my Bailey left school and went into college. Bailey had a D in foundation tier in maths and he needed to get a C to get into university. When I first met Dewi, I couldn't get over how young he was but realised it was a hood thing as he knew all the new format that Bailey is used to.We only had about 8 months of weekly private tuition and Dewi covered all the weak areas and explained tips and knowhow to get round problems. He even did a booklet of formulas that Bailey found useful. Homework was also done and Bailey made sure he did it. Bailey became confident and understood what he needed to do. Dewi was really patient with Bailey and both were on the same wavelength as the age gap wasn't really massive. It's a loss that Dewi is no longer tutoring in our area as I could do with his help for my daughter. I recommend Dewi to anyone I wish him all the best in his role as maths tutor.
