About Luis
With more than 8 years of experience with music theory in classical and jazz music. I have attended the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music along eith the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra where I was part of the steel pan band and jazz group.
I teach a band here in Milwaukee and I have taught the whole band for 2 years now.
I have 4 years of music theory and years of private lessons with jazz musicians.

First getting to know how they learn and what they already know. Then trying different strategies, some students are visual, some are auditory learners so I learn to adapt to how they learn.
I have worked mostly with high school students.
I would say look for someone who is more of a friend. Who is willing to adapt to your way of learning and help you grow instead of forcing you learn what they want you to learn.
