About Elisabeth
My goal is to help each student find their own voice. I strive to understand the needs of each individual and to help them achieve their own success through support and encouragement.
My favorite part about helping students is seeing their confidence in their own abilities grow. I especially enjoy working with ESL students and older adults returning to further their education.
I started tutoring online for my college in 2021. Since then, I have tutored public speaking and histology related subjects both online and in-person.
I have been working as a Public Speaking tutor for a year. I have also worked as a multi-subject tutor for the histology technician program at my college. I am conversational in basic Spanish and German, so I am familiar with language learning.

My first task, after getting to know my student, is to understand what their learning goals are. Understanding each student's strengths and any struggles they are facing is the best way to begin improving any skill.
I have experience working with students of many ages, from High Schoolers to older adults, and from a variety of cultural and language backgrounds, including ESL and ELL students.
