About Lisa
I’m Lisa Perera, a Year 13 A Level student. I'm interested in teaching because I want to help students improve their grades while also reinforcing my own knowledge. I believe students can benefit from learning with someone who’s recently been through the same exams and understands the pressure. I also aim to support students emotionally, helping them stay calm and confident during exam season. My goal is to help them achieve the best grades they can.

I teach by first clearly explaining the topic, then asking a few questions to check understanding before setting some practice questions. Students can ask for help at any time during the lesson. I use a variety of teaching methods to find what suits each student best so they can learn effectively. Lessons are typically 90 minutes long. I got a Grade 9 in GCSE Physics and I'm predicted an A at A Level. I also have a full set of flashcards I used to get my 9, ready to support my students. I offer online tutoring for GCSE Combined or Separate Sciences, up to AS Level.
