About Alex
I am a masters student, training to be a psychotherapist. I understand learning techniques and how to work with mental blocks and emotional resistance to learning. I work with the child to create the best format of learning for them. I have been working with children and tutoring for 6 years.

My teaching method is flexible depending on the needs of the child. Sometimes we work from textbooks but this technique doesn't work for everybody. I am thorough and work to pace of the child, this builds confidence in their own ability. The class is usually split into three sections. The first we will go through the homework I set, the middle we will cover new material, and at the end we will do exercises, quizzes, and try to make the material fun and engaging.
