Experienced tutor in Painting in North Potomac, Shirin S offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Shirin is a very talented artist and a great teacher! She is very patient with her students and helps us work through personal creative challenges. She encourages all of us to grow as artists and we are very thankful to have had her as a mentor.

Shirin was an excellent teacher with a clear passion for art. Before coming to her class, I had little drawing and painting experience. She helped me become comfortable with painting and gave me instructions that were easy to follow. She is very good at teaching a class consisting of people with varying skill levels. I came out of every class feeling very confident about my art and satisfied with my paintings, all because of Shirin's wonderful teaching.

I take her classes with my both adult children and we enjoy them tremendously. We specially like her teaching style of having themes and still life subjects. Additionally, in some of her classes, she prompts us to visualize our painting subjects thru guided visualization. Her classes are peaceful and we learn different techniques.

Shirin has a gentle way of teaching and will let you create art not by instructing but suggesting and let your own instinct lead your art! Being her student and attending her workshop is truly relaxing😍
