Experienced tutor in Painting in San Carlos, Fleur offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I've taken classes with Fleur for over two years now. It's become my weekly relaxation/meditation moment that I really try not to miss. The breath of her knowledge is incredible. Whether you have a specific personal project that you're interested in working on or want her to direct you on a project, she is always game to try something new and always has expertise to share. I've fallen in love with watercolors, but have really enjoyed other projects with acrylics, pastels, lino block prints and recently a collage project. She knows just how to push me since I tend to take the easy route, but never too much!

My 8 year-old daughter has taken a Friday class for kids with Fleur for almost three years. Every time that a session comes to an end and I ask her if she wants to sign up again, she looks at me incredulously and says, "Of course!". The variety of things that she's done with the kids has been incredible-- from a light up city in a pizza box, to multi-layered painting projects stretching out over weeks, to huge papier mache cities....the level of complexity with their projects is amazing!

Fleur is a lovely teacher for students of all ages and abilities. I really couldn't have asked for a better class or teacher!

Fleur is knowledgeable and skilled in many different types of media and she is flexible in her teaching style. I have focused mostly on acrylic painting and have also worked a little in watercolor. Fleur always makes me feel like an artist. I have taken home several paintings that I am pleased and proud of. She is enthusiastic about everyone's work and gives guidance individually based on student's needs and wishes. Speaking French is optional as each individual is at a different level. Fleur sets up the studio in advance of students' arrival and has everyone's project ready to go. She provides supplies so that students do not need to carry things back and forth. A real luxury in art classes. Her classes have been wonderful for me.

This class is a great place to do art and have concentrated time to work on your pieces.
