About Robert
I have been teaching for 35 years. It is a compliment to my commercial world of photography. It's my way of giving it back.
I am on the faculty at International Center of Photography, NYC. In addition I consult photographers on their professional endeavors. I also do a variety of assignments and special projects.

I offer a 2 to 3 hour session to review the needs and wants of the student. We will then evaluate their needs and will create a personalized program and pricing which can be negotiated. During that initial meeting there will be plenty of instruction that will get them started on their photographic journey
From beginner to advanced.
Find an instructor that will put your photography above theirs. Too often instructors are more interested in their own photography rather than their students. I always inform my students that its not about my photography, its all about your photography. I will make you a better photographer!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask the question, What is white balance? Should I just use auto white balance? If your teacher tells you to just use auto white balance without an explanation, I am not so sure that they are the best for you.

Details
I normally charge based on the students wants and needs. Usually I try to set up a program that will benefit the student with their specific needs that might include a number of predetermined sessions. I charge a standard fee of $100 which includes an initial 2 to 3 hour session to evaluate their needs and to create a personalized program and pricing which can be negotiated.
