About Garrett
Hello! I'm a practicing chemical engineer who has a passion for teaching and tutoring. My experience includes teaching chemical engineering labs at the University of Florida as an undergraduate teaching assistant, SAT and ACT tutoring, calculus tutoring, and high school chemistry and algebra tutoring.
I previously taught in an undergraduate chemical engineering lab at the University of Florida. I taught experiments on distillation and thin film evaporation.
In addition, I tutored students for the SAT, ACT, calculus, highschool algebra, and chemistry.

First things first is an evaluation of my students goals and their needs. I like to find how they learn best and cater future lessons to their needs. Generally, the first session involves reviewing exams, homework's, class syllabi, and other assignments to understand the breadth of curriculum. Then, we get right into the meat if the program. I believe strongly in learning by doing. I'll come prepared to each session with challenging problems, lessons, and guidance.
