About Olivia
I love Physics and I love getting people excited about the material! I have been a laboratory assistant for both quantum and classical mechanics courses at St. John's College for three years, meaning that I have plenty of experience explaining confusing concepts with clarity to students. Previously, in high school, I took honors and AP physics, going on to score 5's on both the mechanics and the electricity and magnetism sections. AP test prep is a specialty of mine and I have plenty of study habits that can keep you organized and prepared as you near test day.
I enjoy helping students move past frustration. Moreover, I love the course material, so any time getting to talk about physics is a treat. I love getting people to see the genius behind all of the mindless equations one has to use in order to solve problems. It is incredibly satisfying to get to see students improve after just one session. When a student is able to explain how to solve a physics problem in their own words, I know I've succeeded.
