About Ashfi
I've been tutoring since my undergraduate, graduate, and currently in medical school! I am able simplify complex topics like Biology, Chemistry, Math, or etc. to a easier digestible bite size. Then building knowledge and confidence!
Biology Minor In Chemistry, and MBA
Current MS-3.
I am the oldest of 4 sibblings so it most definitely started from a young age moving into high school and into adulthood. I found myself learning concepts quicker with teaching others and finding more fun way to learn and study.
I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. And extremely confident with tutoring biology and chemistry, especially with my degrees giving me knowledge beyond the basics.

I most definitely like to start with where the student stands with the material at the moment. Finding out what worked for them in the past and currently is not working! Driving into question based learning to gauge their understanding by the homework or chapter of material.
I have worked with a wide range of age and also different learning styles. I have experience in those who struggle with invisible disabilities as well. Students that are more clear on their ways they learn more efficently help me understand ways to teach.
I strongly believe its about learning new methods of studying, discipline, and dedication. A tutor can push you to the next level but you have to be willing to be doing the ground work as well. It's what you take away from the sessions and keep up with the work they give you to do on your own.
