About Noah
Hello!
I am currently a Biochemistry Major, graduating college this upcoming spring, and am looking forward to making your education easier.
I work flexible hours, but consistent hours. My work with students includes being an academic mentor for matriculating freshmen, a hands-on leader and mentor for Army ROTC cadets, and the president of an honor society focused on community service.
When I am not studying or helping my friends, I am outdoors running or reading.

During high school I hit a learning plateau and struggled terribily. I did not get better until I spent hours with a professor that showed me how looking at a problem from as many perspectives as possible can help with learning ANTHING challenging. After applying the skills I learned as an Academic Mentor and seeing my students improved, I become more motivated in helping others.
My job as an Academic Mentor for matriculating students at my college, forced me to show students alternate persepctives on topics they struggled with. At the same time, my goal was to teach study habits that aided all of the students that request my educational help.

My job is not only to ensure your grades improve, but that you understand the material. After discussing how you have tried learning a set of material, I ensure that you understand the basic concepts the build up to the topic at hand. At the same time, I hope I can bring an alternate way of viewing a topic that your teacher/professor hasn't shown you.
It is imperative that the teacher did not just complete the class, but performed well. At the same time, I believe it is important that the teacher applied the concepts outside of the classroom. I have been very fortunate to apply everything I've learned as a past researcher in a Cell Biology Lab, and during my experience of studying for the MCAT. I encourage you to ask your potential tutor about their past experience with the subject you are stuggling with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I believe that a student does not need to struggle BEFORE getting help. In fact, going to a teacher about minor confusion before truly studying the material is absolutly fine. In academia, the end result is to learn as much as possible and perform as well as possible. It is your job to ask as many questions as possible, whether that be right after you learn something new or two weeks later.

Noah was able to help my son in science last school year during COVID. We would not be able to get through his biology with out his help. He is extremely patient and kind with my son when tutoring. I was so thankful for Noah's help!
Working with Noah Lampl absolutely changed my outlook on biology, chemistry and science as a whole. I have taken two summer science classes(general chem and biology) that I struggled through this summer and Noah was not only attentive and patient but the way that he explained the material was above and beyond. He took time to create worksheets and supply me with outside resources that he believed made more sense. He also took time to teach me how to use Anki a spaced repetition flash card app which has absolutely changed the way I study and understand material. Overall, I can confidently say that Noah has changed my study skills and outlook to learning.
He is engaging, and he is patient. He is extremely knowledgable and accommodating to your needs.
Excellent at helping me break down really complex concepts into smaller, manageable goals for my biology class. Before Noah's help, I was looking at a B- at best, but I managed an A- and was top three in the class!
