About Luke
Hello! I'm Luke, a medical student looking for part-time work. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Maryland, where I was a paid teaching assistant for Genetics. I also tutored students in other STEM coursework including biology and chemistry subjects. Now, I offer a FREE 1ST SESSION to make sure students love working with me and to decide a fair price.
I aim to help my students learn to study effectively and efficiently their current classes and the many others down the road. My approach involves 1) Improving students' content mastery and 2) Informing students about study principles and tactics including consistent quizzing, spacing studying, and interleaving of subjects. For example, I made a Quizlet for my students so that even if they didn't have time to make flashcards they could quiz themselves on testable concepts.
Synergy Medical School Services launched in 2020 with the goal of improving MD and DO applicants' success and reducing their stress. We aim to provide cost-effective, insightful, and timely revisions to our students. They will be able to submit superior quality applications earlier in the 'rolling admissions' cycle.
The University of Maryland College Park formally trained me to teach science concepts to college students. I taught classes of 20+ genetics students for several semesters as a Teaching Assistant. I recieved outstanding ratings by my students and faculty along with voluntary feedback given anonymously such as:
