About Frank
I am passionate about helping others learn the material. I am a visual learner and believe in helping students truly understand a topic instead of just memorizing and forgetting after an exam. I also believe in the flipped classroom method, so I will help students learn what they already know in a deeper and more engaging way.
I enjoy being able to make people understand a topic in its entirety and being excited about learning what they are learning
I am not a licensed teacher. But while studying for exams in college, people would always ask me for help until I eventually became a tutor and held weekly tutoring sessions for different classes.
I have a bachelors degree in microbiology and tutored peers and other undergraduate students all throughout college. I've worked in a couple different research labs as well.

Understanding their comfort level with the material and what they would like from me. Then, we can dive into the material and start to learn new and innovative ways to learn the material while still being engaged.
All types. From beginner knowledge levels to advanced. I've also helped a few high school students with their work. I've mainly tutored college students.
That the teachers teaching style is going to effect how well you learn from them. If a teaching style does not compliment your learning style, you won't get much out of the experience. Also, teachers should have a passion about the material they are helping you to learn.

Can I approach this question any differently?
Otherwise, coming to the teacher is a great idea for any help on any problem not matter how complex or easy the solution might be.

Details
It depends on the amount of help the student needs. I charge $20 for 30 minutes and 30$ for a full hour. I am very flexible though.
