About James
I hold a PhD in physics and have served as a TA for many physics classes.
In addition, I have tutored a wide variety of groups ranging from individuals to groups of 10. I will always strive to make students learn to the material to the best of their ability, as I think that all students are capable of grasping this material given enough time and tutelage. In addition, I know how graders think and I know how to train your students tricks to see how to solve these problems.
I find the process of teaching to be very rewarding, and I like helping individual students to realize that they are capable of doing problems that they might have thought impossible.

Typically we both start with an assesment to assess prior knowledge. We then work together to target weaknesses in theory and practical skills. After that, we work on a few varieties of problems together, before having the student try a few problems on their own.
