I've played all my life and teaching seems to come naturally to me.
Attended Berklee College of Music and I am.currwntly playing live shows with a band as well as working in my recording studio.

Get the student playing music as soon as possiblr. Niot just scales and drills. Make it fun.
One very young girl. A woman in her 40s, and a 20 yr old man. So it varies.
Find a teacher that is passionate about music and about teaching. Love for the art is more important than they pay. It will show in the way the teacher works.
My newest student met all the goals we set at the start of his lessons.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should know what they want as in, do they want to learn classical, or just play songs they lije. Are they considering doing music professionally or just for fun etc.

I have a great experience with Paul as a teacher. He is very patient and understanding with a new student. I have learned a great deal and look forward in more piano lessons.
I've had a great experience working with Paul (about 20 lessons). He has a contagious enthusiasm and passion for playing that has motivated me to continue improving. He's been flexible with scheduling and my lessons even through last second changes I've brought up. He's even spent time outside the lesson helping me develop a plan which I've greatly appreciated.
