Experienced tutor in Piano in Baltimore, Maxwell offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Max is a fantastic teacher. Very patient and encouraging. I leave each lesson feeling inspired and I always get new insights from him about music. Recommended him for a friend and he also enjoyed Max’s lessons. Would highly recommend to anyone!

At the beginning of the lessons, I was quite unconfident about my piano skills, since I had only learned piano for two years in college rather than ~10yrs experiences like my classmates. The lessons by Max became the turning point of everything. He encouraged me by telling me about what's good in my skills, which gave me the confidence to try to play like a professional. Just after one year, I'm currently able to learn Bach's fugues and Beethoven's sonatas which previously I regarded impossible to work on for me, an "outsider". Beyond technicality, Max also taught me a lot about how to interpret a piece musically and further encouraged me to develop my own interpretation. These lessons became the turning point for me where I found myself started to actually understand the art of music.
