About Marc
I believe each students has their individul abilities and talents to play music, I want to help my students to improve their individule technique abilities and musical understanding to a higher level. I have been teaching as private teacher for many years both at Shanghai, Boston and in Texas. I am now teaching private piano and group piano lessons for undergraduate sudents at University of North Texas College of Music. I am a pianist who has won the 1st Prize in the Solo Division of the International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival in 2019, the 2nd Prize of the Chamber Music in ENKOR Int'l Music Competition in 2018, the 3rd Prize in the 30th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival competition in 2013, I have given recitals both at Shanghai Symphony Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall, Hangzhou Grand Theater, Colorado Griffin Concert Hall, and Salzburg Kleines Studio. My former teachers was Yi-Qiang Sun, Dr. Cheung-Yu Mo at Shanghai Conservatory, and Ya-Fei Chuang at Boston Conservatory, and now I am continuing my DMA with Adam Wodnicki at UNT College of Music. I am also a pianist at UNT Center Trio now.
