About Susan
I regard each of my students as uniquely gifted individuals, with uniquely individual ways of learning and growing. No 2 people are alike, and should not be taught in the same manner. I try to become a student of my students and the best ways they learn, and gear my teaching toward both their needs and strengths.
I so enjoy seeing students gain not only self confidence but joy in recognizing their own progress and accomplishment - which further motivates them to become not just great piano players, but wonderful musicians.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy, and have been teaching all ages and levels for over 25 years.

Susan combines encouragement with sharp experience. Every week, I know I have learned something useful or important. She is very patient, but doesn't let me get away with anything! Susan is one of the best music instructors I've ever had.
