About Melissa
As a teacher, I strive to help students become well-rounded musicians by identifying their strengths and strengthening their weaknesses in a low pressure environment. I try to motivate instead of berate. I understand that learning an instrument (including voice) can be hard, but it should also be rewarding and fun. I have a BM in Vocal Performance from NMSU and have taught private voice, ukulele and piano for 5+ years, but I have also taught music in both public and private school. I enjoy teaching all ages.
