I first ask the students question to see what they know, then I can see what they know. Then I ask them what they want to learn. Then I can make the correct decision and process for that student.
I work with all students from young student to adults.
There are many different types of teachers, there are teachers who just teach and those that teach and are actually using their talents, they are different. You need to know what you want to learn and try to match that with the teacher's skill to teach you that.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why do I want to play that instrument?
Am I I willing to do what it takes to be successful at the instrument by practicing?
What kind of music am I willing to learn to learn how to play the instrument I want?
