About Kristopher
I love music, drama, and writing, and I love to pass these skills on others. (I started piano lessons around age 5 and have sung in choirs and ensembles off and on since childhood). I also tutor math and English. I enjoy making learning fun and seeing the success and progress of my stduents.
I founded the academy in 2011 out of my home, graduated cum laude with my music degree from Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in 2013, and expanded to online lessons during the corona quarantines of 2020. A longtime public school music teacher, recently retired, has referred several students to me through the years and written favorably about my skills. References from families of various students are available on request.
I've also helped with church music as needed since 2000, including playing piano for most services from 2008 to 2020 and singing in the praise ensemble most of that time.
