About Jasmine
I am pleased to be offering private and personalized piano lessons to
school-aged children and adults in the Richmond area. My love for
music started as a child, but really flourished once I joined the Greater
Richmond Children's Choir (GRCC) and started taking private piano
lessons with Hope Erb, the founder of GRCC. It was then that I
realized music would play a huge role in my life forever.
Throughout my music career, I have:
- Traveled to China to sing at landmarks in Shanghai and Beijing
- Performed at a national convention of the American Choral Directors
Association in Los Angeles, California
- Participated in the Virginia Music Teachers Association (VMTA) theory testing annually
- Studied AP Music Theory in high school and scored a 5 on my exam which allowed me to earn credit hours toward a college degree, and
- Played piano and other percussion instruments in Clover Hill High School's Percussion Ensemble
