About Brett
I have just recently graduated with my bachelors in piano performance! Also, I have studied piano since I was 8 years old and have continued those studies throughout my time in college.
Regarding my experience teaching, I have several private students (zoom and in person), teach at a local music school in the DFW area, and have studied piano pedagogy. Also, I can supply references upon request.
I love to find out the specific goals of my students for their music lessons. Along with helping them achieve these goals, I emphasize necessary foundational musical knowledge and skills. If the you do not have specific goals, I work with that too!
I would love to discuss further the opportunity of working with you in piano lessons! No matter your experience level!! Also, with the pandemic as it is, Zoom lessons are not a problem:)
I LOVE exploring the musical goals my students have and helping them reach those goals. Whether that be playing the pop song you have always wanted to play or diving into a Beethoven sonata that has seemed out of reach.
Most of all, I love helping my students find magic in music - no matter what that looks like! Because when you find that magic, the joy of music becomes the reason for learning... not the requirement:)

Brett is hands down my girl's favorite piano teacher. He is so good and meets the kids where they are. He is so gifted but has a great ability to talk and teach in a way the girls got it. It was always fun! You won't find anyone more kind and professional.
