Testimonials from our families: "Stephanie is a wonderful instructor who has a great way of connecting with the kids and making her classes both instructional and fun. My children have been learning piano with Stephanie for over a year now and they are thoroughly enjoying it. I highly recommend Stephanie for anyone who is looking for a well rounded piano experience, both theory and practice.” -Ingo I. “She does a great job tuning in to each one of my kids individually...their learning styles and tastes, etc.. She is very kind and encouraging. Would highly recommend her!” -Amy E. “Stephanie Martin has taught our daughter piano for almost two years now. My daughter has provided me with the following feedback when asked what do you like about taking lessons from Stephanie: ‘She provides easy to understand step-by-step instructions, provides in-depth reviews/clear directions, makes me feel comfortable, and is always joyful and happy.’ We’ve seen incredible strides in our daughter’s musical abilities thanks to Stephanie. Stephanie Martin is a true musical professional and talent. We are very pleased with her services and dedication she provides our daughter. Stephanie provides a premium service, instructions, and is a model teacher. If all musical instructors were like Stephanie, we would have more kids embracing both music and piano.” -Jason S.
I began teaching in a music store in 2012. I loved working with the kids and sharing my passion for music with them. In 2015 I decided to establish my studio, and have greatly enjoyed the work!
I have a B.A. in Piano Performance, 19 years' experience playing piano, 18 years' experience working with children, 6 years' experience as a piano instructor, and extensive performing experience.

I set up a free trial lesson with the student, so the family can get to know me and decide if I am a good fit for them. After that, we can register them for a weekly spot for lessons.
My experience ranges from children age 3 years old to adult students in their 80s. I have also taught special needs children and special needs adults.
I would say, make sure you hire someone who has a B.A. in their field and is excellent with children. It's important that they enjoy what they do, are knowledgeable about it, and can communicate their excitement about music to their students!
I really enjoy organizing recitals at nursing homes. The residents get to experience the joy of watching the children play, and the students get valuable performance experience. It's especially a joy to set these recitals up around the holidays, when nursing home residents can tend to get lonely. It can really lift their spirits!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Consider how much time you'll have available to practice piano throughout the week. Take some time also to think about what types of music you'd like to learn--pop, Classical, rock, you name it.
