About

· Honestly I want every student to succeed. I know that the parents are the primary teachers, thus I wish to also help the parents know what they can do to teach their child. This is best for long-term learning.

I love to learn, and helping others learn is one of my deepest passions. It brightens my day to see my students’ faces light up when they learn something new. Helping them apply their knowledge to daily life is also a deep love of mine.

When I was in university I taught at the preschool through my psychology program, to understand kids better. After graduating I worked as a tutor with 8th graders in reading and math. Then I worked at a reading center for all ages.

Get to know them. Get to know their level, and where they need to be. Then I can construct a specialized learning plan to get them from start to finish.

High school and middle school students.

If the teacher doesn't care about you, and only cares about the results, or about getting paid, then avoid that teacher.

Witnessing my daughter say her numbers 1-10 a few days before her 2nd birthday! (September 3)

$30/hour. The reading company I used to work for charges about $106-149/hour, and they trained me for 80 hours how to implement their programs. I cannot go lower than $30/hour because I watch my two daughters full time (3.5 and 2 years old)
