About Geoff
Fitness: I have literally decades of experience in fitness. I've worked with all kinds of people, at different levels.
Self-Defense: I have worked extensively in security contracting and personal protection. I've competed in martial arts, and done it in movies. That is NOT the same as real world violence, do not be fooled.

To help them understand exactly what it is they really want from martial arts and/or fitness training with me, then design the appropriate regimen.
General population, but also: Autistic, ADHD, disabled, previous injury, elderly. I do not teach younger than 8 years old.
Understand what they want from training.
Fitness training has to be done REGULARLY, not once or twice a week, or every couple of weeks.
Martial Arts take a very long time to become proficient at, and often are not applicable to real world survival. MMA, BJJ, and other combat sports are just that - SPORTS. Sports have protective gear, rules, padded floors, etc. Street survival has none of those factors.
One of my corporate accounts is East Los Angeles College, where I taught over 30 faculty how to protect themselves. Several of the staff were very timid and nervous at first, but by the end of the seminar, they were confident Warriors.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Know exactly what it is they want from training, and NEVER be afraid to ask questions. WORD OF ADVICE: If a trainer can't give you an answer, you're in trouble...

I have had several martial arts instructors, all of them good, but none better than Geoff Meed. Geoff has studied multiple disciplines, and has "real world" experience that he passes on to his students. Geoff teaches effective self defense that will work if you are ever forced to use it. Unfortunately I now live in a different state and am no longer able to study with Geoff, but I would in a heartbeat if the opportunity ever arises. I could not reccomend Geoff any higher!
Great instructor with real world experience. He teaches practical self defense in probable applications. Love the seminar he was at in Northern Wisconsin.
Techniques were broken down as to fully understand the mechanics behind them. Very knowledgeable.
