About Jose
My name Is Jose Aguilar, As a Boxing Coach, I have become well-known and respected throughout the greater Dallas/ Lewisville/ Denton area. Trained and taught by not only some of the best in the sport but also some of the greatest athletes in the world, I developed my own unique and effective teaching methods. I focus on getting your body and mind focused on the game and preparing you to compete against the best. I specialize in the areas of boxing, strength training, weight loss and emotional well being. My number one goal as a Coach is to always improve and help all of my athletes become the BEST version of themselves. Whether preparing for your next fight or just looking to compete with yourself for a better quality of life I truly believe that with the right help ANYONE can accomplish ANYTHING they set their mind to.
I offer private sessions in the Lewisville area Monday through Saturday. Sundays I offer Private sessions in Plano, at a different location.

There is really no easy answer to this question, I love the sport of boxing and nothing feels better than to share my skills and experience with anyone looking to learn, challenge or simply add something new to a gym routine. I also enjoy getting to know my clients and helping each one of them crush major or long term goals while also keeping in mind smaller goals to help improve in many different ways and also to keep track of progress. Overall the favorite part of my job is the growth and experience I receive from working with my clients and with 8 years of experience now, I can honestly say that happy is an understatement, I am blessed and fully committed to helping you become the best version of yourself.
I chose to go into coaching as soon as i realized i had a gift for teaching the art of boxing. Over the past few years I have been able to help a large number of both Professional and Amateur boxers with nutriton advice, personalized workouts and helping them stay consistent.

About the lesson

We will meet at the gym, and begin by discussing both short and long term goals. This part is very important as i will ask multiple questions to get to know more about the client and his/ her needs. From there I will walk you through a warm up to get some muscles activated before any rapid movement. Typically after this part the way my sessions work is 20 minutes of strength and conditioning followed by 40 minutes of Boxing drills
