I had been looking for a boxing gym for a few years now, but was afraid to make the plunge due to insecurities and being so out of shape. I took one free class with Masha and immediately felt comfortable. I felt more than the push I needed, Masha immediately recognized my strengths and weaknesses and taught me based on them, in a way that was strict like a trainer should be, effective, but most importantly did not make me feel (even though I very much was) inadequate. I knew after the first class this was the environment I could thrive on with such a direct, pushy, yet hilarious trainer that clearly loves boxing and is a great teacher regardless of different levels in the class.
