About Ramona
With a degree in Business Admin/Accounting and Graduate studies in Finance, I spent twenty years in corporate oil and gas. Early 1990's, I fell in love with quilting and subsequently became an instructor and designer for Quakertown Quilts/Friendswood in 2001 where she remained until their doors closed in 2011. During my tenure there, I was published in many quilt magazines and books and owner of many quilt awards. But as one door closes, another opens and I was given the opportunity and challenge to convert the Fabrics Etcetera/Webster store from a stitch and sew into a quilt shop in 2012. I am currently designing quilts and in charge of the quilting side of the store. I'm especially proud of my latest honor, one of her quilts was featured “Treasury of Quilts” by 19th Century Patchwork Divas (Martingale Publications). I am excited to share my skills and knowledge of the craft with all level quilters.
The owner of a quilt shop asked me to start teaching quilt classes at her shop after I handled a demo for them at a special event.
Over 25 years experience in quilting and over 40 years of sewing. I only give quilt lessons.
