About Amelia
As a classically trained vocalist and graduate of Berklee College of Music, I specialize in utilizing contemporary repertoire as a vehicle for teaching solid technique. Depending on the individual goals of the student, lessons can consist of any combination of the following: technique, music theory, sight reading, vocal workouts, diction, interpretation, stage presence, leading a band, etc.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2004 with a degree in Professional Music with emphasis in vocal performance and music business management. I have nearly 15 years experience teaching and singing professionally.

I begin with an introductory phone call to get to know the goals of the student and their current level of experience so that I can tailor the lessons specifically to their needs. From there we schedule our first meeting to get started!
In the capacity of private vocal instruction, I have worked with students from age 5 to 65. I also teach preschool music and movement, so I truly work with students of all ages and skill levels.
