About Helane
I love teaching and use methods that encompass a more holistic approach to singing. Through my years of study and experience as a classical singer and pianist, I found there were elements of experience including singing that were not addressed in traditional lessons and often contributed to my own creative stickiness. Through my untraditional approach to singing and learning about the voice, I help people discover access to the true flow of the voice. Combining traditional vocal and breath techniques with healing modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Sacral Sounds approaches singing from this more holistic point of view. Singers discover toools to open the full power and capacity of their voice.
I love watching how much singing and opening the voice helps people experience more joy and connection in all areas of their life.

Lessons start with addressing vocal goals and needs, and figuring out what needs to be addressed. We approach from a holistic place of life as well as vocal and breath exercises to begin practicing. The whole person is encompassed in the voice and singing so addressing it is part of the unfolding of opening the voice and singing better.
