About Gordon
Playing soccer has been an influential aspect of my life growing up that has allowed me to appreciate my personal health while being supportive and encouraging those around me to do the same. Helping kids develop in soccer has been a huge passion of mine that I've always wanted to explore. I'm very excited to make the most of this opportunity!
The most rewarding thing I get from mentoring and helping develop youth soccer players is the grattitude in helping them reach their full potential. I really resonate with the idea of self improvement and with this opportunity, I love working with youth to help them see this too.

When working with a new trainee, I usually like to set time outside of the initial session to establish a personalized traning plan depending on the needs of the trainee. I have experiences playing as a defender, midfielder, and striker which makes it easier for me to facilitate these sessions. Whether it be spending time on how to strike a ball for accuracy or power, understanding the technique and art of passing, or defending 1 on 1 situations, the initial evaluation will be tailored to what the trainee is looking to receive from training with me.
After the initial evaluation is made, I will set aside some time at home developing a personalized training plan before implementing it on the day of the session.
I have worked with kids between the ages of 6-8. However, I am very open and flexible in working with youth of all ages.

My son really enjoyed working with Gordon through Joga Bonito. Gordon was very professional and accommodating in finding a personalized training schedule for my son. Gordon also mentioned that he has experience playing as a striker, midfielder, and in defense which really helped; he really is well versed in different positions. This was really helpful because my son is still figuring out what he likes to play most on the field!
