About Priscilla
Hello! My name is Priscilla and I have over ten years' experience in tutoring. I tutor Spanish and English because I love languages.
If you want to learn Spanish, I'd love to help you. I work with each student personally to learn their goals and motivations, and I translate that into a personalized lesson plan.
If you're learning Spanish with me, it isn't all dry and academic. I teach students idioms, local sayings, and ways to incorporate Spanish into daily life!
If you're taking English with me, I will tailor the focus to what you need to grow academically.
Maybe previous teachers have made grammar and writing boring, but I am here to help show students how important communication can be! English, whether essay composition or creative writing, is the basis of effective communication.
My goal is for students to not only excel in their communication, but to enjoy it!

Helpful, encouraging, knowledgeable.
I appreciated her ability to personalize curriculum for me. She noted areas I was struggling in and focused on encouraging me in those. I feel like I learned a lot because she didn't just use a standard Spanish textbook, but she also taught me everyday Spanish slang, and also the nuances of different Spanish words the dictionary didn't really go into. I'd definitely recommend her as a Spanish tutor.
