I have been privately tutoring for about eight years and about four years ago began teaching classes (up to 15 students) in Algebra and Geometry. I prefer to work with high school students and love hearing how they do in the class!

I don't have one specific teaching method, but if a student is stuck on a specific problem or topic, I like to have them walk me through it to see exactly where they get stuck. From there, before I tell them exactly what to do, I like to ask questions that might "click" and have them move forward on their own.
In small classes, I encourage them to teach each other.
