"My daughter absolutely loved working with SoFlo Tutors. She only had a few weeks before her upcoming SAT and we were panicking. We wanted to utilize every resource possible to raise her score. So yes, we even hired multiple tutors from different agencies.

Manu from SoFlo Tutors is a very understanding person. There were days where I just wasn’t understanding anything at all and I was upset with myself. Manu would cheer me up and laugh with me. True experts! SoFlo knows the SAT incredibly well and was able to pass on lessons and tricks to my son who improved 310 points on his SAT from a 1240 to a 1550 over the course of 4 months. SoFlo gave my son a ton of curriculum. He needed a set structure and study plan to succeed, otherwise it would be hard to keep him focused. Every week he was studying from real SAT past exams, a free video course, and plenty of 1-on-1 tutoring to give him the skills to break 1500. My son is very bright but not confident, and his tutor Brian worked with him to gain confidence and have the right mindset for success. I hired SoFlo SAT Tutoring to help my older son, Kevin, improve his SAT score and get into college. Hiring SoFlo is one of the best choices I ever made. They've changed my son's life by helping him get into Yale. It wouldn't have happened without SoFlo My son had an amazing test prep tutor, Charlie, who increased his score 260 points!! My son worked hard with Charlie, meeting him throughout the spring and summer in two-hour sessions once a week.

Right from the beginning, the process was all very organized. Kevin took a diagnostic test that Charlie used to target certain aspects of the SAT. My son was better at math than English at the start, so Charlie worked through many practice tests with Kevin to show him the different types of questions and how best to answer them. Charlie was a great tutor who really got through to Kevin. Kevin took the SAT three times and improved his score 260 points from when we first started.

We were so impressed with the SAT Prep that we started using SoFlo for college help. We worked with a college admissions counselor from Princeton to help Kevin write unique college essays and work with us through the application process. They helped Kevin create a healthy college list, with schools that were financially feasible for us and that fit Kevin well. It's been many years since my wife and I applied to college, so the process has changed a lot, and SoFlo's owner Adam, in particular, was very helpful in relaying information about strategies, deadlines, and the ways to write and edit Kevin's essays. Kevin had a lot of ideas for his essays, but he had trouble settling on one and putting it into words. Adam advised Kevin on which one of his desired essay topics could bring him the most success and then worked tirelessly through many rough drafts of essays until Kevin had his ideal personal statement (the main essay for college). Many of the schools Kevin applied to also have supplemental essays, and Adam helped Kevin brainstorm and edit those as well. My son was very busy during this time with sports and other extracurriculars, which I worried would pose a problem for scheduling, but SoFlo was able to work with us and our awkward schedule so that Kevin could get tutored and so that he could have his questions answered and essays read in a timely manner.

They were always very patient with us, answered our emails quickly, and were very affordable. We looked at many packages for college counseling in particular, and this company gave the most bang for our buck. My son ended up getting accepted to his top choice school, Yale University, and I know that wouldn't have been possible without SoFlo's help. 11/10 for SoFlo SAT Tutoring. Adam and his team did an amazing job working with my son. With only 12 sessions my son improved 170 points from his PSAT and reached his goal score. The team did an amazing job and I was very happy with the tutoring. 170 points is going to change his entire life!! Now he is a strong candidate for University of Virginia SoFlo's Skype tutoring was also affordable. I had searched for a long time, and SoFlo is roughly the same price as an SAT Prep class, and much cheaper than any other tutor. Unbelievable value!

I found SoFlo SAT Tutoring online and they left a strong impression. I had searched and spoken with many test prep companies but they were the best. They answered all my messages and responded to my calls very promptly. Also there were no contracts so I gave them a shot even though I had not heard of the company before. The founder Adam was knowledgeable about SAT prep and friendly on our initial phone call and getting started was easy, just filling out a simple form. They had my son Greg take a diagnostic test to gauge his initial strengths and weaknesses. From the diagnostic we had a very strategic approach to prep and there were clear goals and directions. From there a polite young tutor reached out and began scheduling test prep sessions. My son is always very busy because he is on the soccer team, but our tutor Charlie was very flexible and scheduled sessions at my son's convenience. We met with Charlie once a week for two hours over the course of about 3 months. I was able to track my son's progress because he was always doing SAT practice tests for homework. His score was steadily climbing from week to week, and we were confident that he was going to improve his SAT score. After taking the SAT we decided to pause sessions thinking that we should wait until we see how Greg did on his test. Adam completely understood and did not pressure us to continue sessions. When the scores came out Greg improved over 200 points and scored a 1430 on the SAT. Tutoring is the best money I've ever spent and every step of the way SoFlo has been great to work with. I'm so appreciative!
