Mr. Norris is the utmost professional and exactly what we were looking for in a teacher. I’m currently a senior at Berklee College of Music double majoring in Film Scoring and Composition. When I was in high school, I studied AP Music Theory with Mr. Norris and earned a 5 on the AP Music Theory Exam. Mr. Norris modifies his teaching approach to match the individual needs of each student. He engages the students by playing examples on the piano and trumpet and playing audio examples of multiple genres, while establishing the foundation of different concepts. His passion and enthusiasm for teaching music theory encouraged me to do my best and motivated me to pursue music beyond the classroom.

Christopher Norris excels in being able to teach music theory to students of all skill levels in a way that makes the difficult topics easy to pick up on and master. He ensures that I and his other students understand every topic very well before moving on, and is able to connect newer, more difficult topics to simpler ones to make them easier to understand.
