About Alan
I have been teaching violin and viola for 55 years. Other credentials include: Professor Emeritus of Violin and Viola, University of Akron (taught in the School of Music for 30+ years); Artist/Faculty, Meadowmount School of Music 1986-2013; Concertmaster, Akron Symphony 1986-2016; Music Director and Concertmaster, Akron Baroque Orchestra. I am only considering serious, advanced students. My fee is $80 per hour lesson.
